August 29th: CAO Round Two offers. August 30th and 31st: Viewing of scripts in school (Friday evening, Saturday morning).
The Leaving and Junior Cert exams begin at 9.30 on Wednesday the 6th of June. Candidates and parents/guardians should familiarise themselves with the examination timetable and information regarding conduct during the examinations (and the booklet entitled General Candidate Information 2013). Candidates are expected to be in the exam hall half an hour before the start of the first exam and 15 minutes before the start of every other exam. Western Waves Community Radio is streaming a series of lectures this week featuring the Leaving Cert Honours English Poets and the Essay. The Leaving Cert Class of 2013 Yearbook has finally arrived in the school. Please see Mr. Beattie to collect your copy. Well done to the Editorial Team who made it all happen: Eoin Morris, Ciara Keon, Gráinne Mc Gonigle, with assistance from Rachael Harte, Adrian Sheerin and Áine Kavanagh. The fantastic front cover was designed by Amy Christie and Kornelija Norkeviciúte. There are quite a few copies still available to purchase even if you haven’d paid for one yet.
TY Night was a great success, as Transition Year students showcased the range of activities and projects they’ve been involved in over the year. Photos from the night are now online on the Photos page. Ashort video of students reflecting on their time in TY is on the CCBS TV YouTube channel.
