The Cycle Against Suicide will ride into town again on May 3rd. Our TYs helped organisers launch the event yesterday down town. Cycle Against Suicide is an initiative started in 2013 to raise awareness of the considerable help and supports that are available for anyone battling depression, self-harm, at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide. The cyclists tour the country spreading the message that ‘It’s ok not to be ok’. The main cycle takes place from April 28 to May 7th, and will visit 67 towns. The cyclists will call to Coláiste Cholmcille on May 3rd and stop that night in the local area, before heading off again the following morning. We look forward to seeing all those orange jerseys again!
